Job Description:
As an Administrative Coordinator at MOKSCARE Clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and providing support to both the staff and patients. Your organizational and communication skills will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Patient Records Management:
Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
Coordinate the processing and filing of patient forms, medical records, and insurance documentation.
Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility for services.
Appointment Coordination:
Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to schedule procedures and tests.
Notify patients of appointment details, including date, time, and any special instructions.
Billing and Insurance Support:
Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries, explain coverage details, and verify insurance information.
Collect and process patient payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
Collaborate with the billing department to resolve billing issues and provide necessary documentation.
Supply Management:
Monitor and maintain inventory of office and medical supplies.
Place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the clinic staff, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining files.
Assist with the coordination of special projects and events.
Perform data entry, generate reports, and maintain various records.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in healthcare administration is a plus).
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures is advantageous.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
