The Student Opportunity Program at MOKSCARE Clinic offers valuable learning and hands-on experience for students interested in the healthcare industry. As a Student Opportunity Program Participant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in various departments of the clinic. This program aims to provide students with exposure to real-world healthcare scenarios, enhance their skills, and contribute to the overall mission of the clinic.

Responsibilities:

Departmental Support:
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and staff in assigned departments to provide support and assistance as needed.
Shadow and observe experienced professionals to gain an understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document management.
Patient Care Assistance:
Interact with patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
Assist in patient intake processes, such as taking vitals, updating medical records, and preparing examination rooms.
Observe and learn basic patient care procedures under the guidance of healthcare providers.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Learn and utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other documentation tools effectively.
Support the organization and filing of medical records and other administrative documents.
Special Projects and Research:
Collaborate with assigned teams on special projects or research initiatives as required.
Assist in collecting and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, and preparing reports.
Contribute ideas and insights to improve processes and practices within the clinic.
Learning and Development:
Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities provided by the clinic.
Attend meetings, presentations, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Seek feedback from supervisors and actively apply learning to improve performance.
Requirements:

Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant educational program (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, medical assisting, etc.).
Strong interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to gain practical experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Flexibility and willingness to assist in various departments as assigned.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
